New construction of a multi-residential development in Toronto, Ontario. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 81-unit multi-residential development.
Scope of work includes architecture and prime consultant services for Phase 1 redevelopment at 805 Wellington Street West. The project focuses on the design and development of a mid-rise building with 81 units to operate as a supportive housing program, with management by a non-profit specialized operator. The work includes Building A (Supportive Housing) and a shared driveway mid-block connection area for the combined site. The building will be on the south-east corner of Strachan Avenue and Wellington Street West. TIMELINE: Request for Proposals (RFP) for architecture and prime consultant services for Phase 1 (mid-rise; supportive housing) only has been issued by the owner; submission remain under review. Pending approvals as well as owner's decision to proceed, construction may begin Q1 2027 with a target completion of Q4 2028. Further update upon award of the RFP.
