Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Biwabik, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; bridge / tunnel; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The work will be done under one prime contract that includes general construction. The scope of work includes fencing at Sites 3 and 1; bituminous trail paving west of Site 4, at Site 3, at Site 2, and at Site 1; Site 4 erosion and sediment control; grading; salvaging common fill, riprap, and granular filter; placement of culverts and manhole structure; riprap and granular filter placement; A-Jacks and Articulated Concrete Mat placement; seeding and site restoration. This solicitation includes required insurance as recommended for the project's specifications and scope of work. It is highly encouraged potential responders review Section 00 73 16 Insurance Requirements as well as AIA A201, Article 11 before submitting a response. The project has a 3% Targeted Group (TG), Economically Disadvantaged (ED), or Veteran-Owned Small Businesses subcontracting goal. Responding companies must have completed as a Prime Contractor, not as a Subcontractor, at least three contracts achieving Substantial Completion since January 1, 2019, for General Contracting Construction with similar project scope and size, each with a construction value of $2,000,000 or greater. The Project Manager and Job Superintendent for this project each must have at least ten years of experience with work of similar scope and value to this project, with each contract having a construction value of $2,000,000 or greater.
