The City of Wilton Manors, Florida is seeking proposals from qualified licensed contractors for improvements to NW 3rd Avenue. The project requires removing existing stormwater infrastructure on NW 3rd Avenue between NW 23rd Street and NW 20th Street, and installing new 24", 30", and 36" drainage pipe and exfiltration trench. New drainage structures, a 24" in-line check valve, and other environmental control measures must also be installed. The improvements cover 1.83 acres of paved roadways and are intended to provide storm runoff attenuation and alleviate flooding. The work to be performed under this Contract shall consist of furnishing all tools, equipment, materials, supplies, and manufactured articles and for furnishing all transportation and services, including fuel, power, water, and essential communications, and for the performance of all labor, work, or other operations required for the fulfillment of the Contract in strict accordance with the Contract Documents. The work shall be complete, and all work, materials, and services not expressly shown or called for in the Contract Documents which may be necessary for the complete and proper construction of the work in good faith shall be performed, furnished, and installed by the Contractor LOCATION OF WORK A. The work is located within portions of NW 3rd Ave, from the intersection with NW 23rd St going south to the intersection of NW 20th St, to include R/O/W to R/O/W at the southernmost intersection of NW 21st Ct and NW 3rd Ave going west to NW 5th Ave, and at intersection of NW 3rd Ave and NW 20th St head west then south to between properties at 1935 and 1929 NW 3rd Ave, at that point head South-West into the South Fork of the Middle River in the City of Wilton Manors, Florida. 1. Stormwater a. Furnish and install yard drains, manholes, and catch basin structures as shown in the contract plans. b. Remove and replace storm water drainage catch basin structures. c. Furnish and install high-density polypropylene (HP) pipe as shown in the contract plans. d. Furnish and install 4' x 7.39' exfiltration trench with 30-inch HP perforated pipe as shown in the contract plans. e. Regrading and resoding landscape areas and swales. f. Reconstruction of sewer laterals, water mains, and water services. g.
