Renovation of a fire / police facility in Wilton Manors, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.

The project consists of replacing the existing emergency generator at the Fire Station located in Wilton Manors and providing an operable electric generating system, including all devices and equipment specified in the technical specifications. 9. QUESTIONS REGARDING BID Address all questions to Ariel Montalvo, Purchasing Coordinator, 2020 Wilton Drive, Wilton Manors, Florida 33305 via email to amontalvo@wiltonmanors.com. Such questions will be answered in the form of an Addendum to the Bid which will be emailed to all known bidders that attended the Pre Bid Conference and posted to the City's website. Verbal responses will not be given. The deadline for submitting any questions regarding the bid will be 12/31/2025 at 7:00 AM ET Response to Questions December 16, 2025 f requested, potential bidders must complete their site visit by December 30, 2025. Contract Negotiation January 12, 2026 City Commission Approval of Contract February 10, 2026, or later The Fire Station Generator project consists of replacing the existing emergency generator located at the Fire Station located in Wilton Manors and providing an operable electric generating system, including all devices and equipment specified in the technical specifications. The above description is not intended to be all inclusive, and the contractor shall be responsible for notifying the City of any conflicts or deficiencies noted during review of technical specifications, design plans or site inspection which would affect the proposers' final project costs. The completion schedule for the work is 120 consecutive calendar days from the issuance of a Notice To Proceed by the City until substantial completion of the work and 150 consecutive calendar days from the issuance of a Notice To Proceed by the City until final completion of the work. Liquidated damages will be assessed as stated in the Contract. No pre-bid meeting will occur. All bids must be submitted in sealed, opaque envelopes bearing on the outside the name of the Bidder, address, the name and number of the project for which the qualification packet is submitted, and the date of opening. The bids must be made on the standard bid proposal form in the manner designated therein and required by the Bid Form. All bids shall require a Bid Guaranty as set forth in Part A, Section B, "Instructions to Bidders." No bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of 60 calendar days after the date set for bid opening. The bid security is forfeitable as liquidated damages should the successful bidder fail to enter into a contract, all as more particularly described in Part A, Section B, "The Instructions to Bidders". 7. OWNER'S RIGHTS RESERVED The City Commission of the City of Wilton Manors reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any and all informalities or irregularities and to accept or reject all or any part of any bid as they may deem to be in the best interest of the citizens of the City of Wilton Manors. 8. COMPETENCY OF BIDDERS Pre-award inspection of the Bidder's facility may be made prior to the award of contract. Bids will be considered only from firms which are regularly engaged in the business of providing the services as described; have a record of performance for a reasonable period; have sufficient financial support, equipment and organization to ensure that they can satisfactorily execute the services if awarded a Contract under the terms and conditions herein stated. The terms "equipment and organization" as used herein shall be construed to mean a fully equipped and well-established company in line with the best business practices in the industry and as determined by the proper authorities of the City. The City may consider any evidence available to it of the financial, technical and other qualifications and abilities of a Bidder, including, but not limited to, past performance (experience) with the City in making the award the best interest of the City. Proposer/Contractor shall have a minimum of five (5) years of experience performing work of a similar nature to the scope and requirements of this Project, verifiable by references to be provided in the response. Proposer/Contractor shall identify projects of a similar nature as required elsewhere in this ITB. Any subcontractors identified in the response may also be required to provide such references.
