Proposals will be received for the removal and replacement of three existing parking lots at Hilltop Park, including associated grading, drainage improvements, earthwork, striping, flatwork, construction fencing, site protection, and all other incidental work as required by the plans and specifications at 3950 Buckingham Square, Reno, NV. All labor, tools, implements, machinery, materials, and any incidentals necessary to complete the work in the manner and time prescribed, and in strict conformity with the contract documents to the satisfaction of the City Engineer, are to be included. Liquidated Damages $1,000.00 Estimated Bid Value $350,000.00 - $370,000.00 Start/Delivery Date June 2026 Project Duration 50 Working Days *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Said Proposal shall include all labor, tools, implements, machinery, materials, and any incidentals necessary to complete the work in the manner and time prescribed, and in strict conformity with the Contract Documents to the satisfaction of the City Engineer. In general, the major work items include: Work will consist of the removal and replacement of three existing parking lots, including associated grading, drainage improvements, earthwork, striping, flatwork, construction fencing, site protection, andall other incidental work as required by the plans and specifications at Hilltop Park located at 3950 Buckingham Square Reno, NV. Minimum Wage rates have been determined by the Labor Commissioner of the State of Nevada and are set forth in the contract documents. In no case shall the wage rates be less than prescribed therein. In the event there is a difference between the minimum wage rates as predetermined by the Secretary of Labor and the prevailing wages rates as determined by the State Labor Commissioner for similar classifications of labor, the contractor or and his subcontractor shall not pay less than the wage rate which is the higher of the two. Additionally, if a classification that is being used does not appear in the Davis Bacon Wage decision, a Request for Classification will be required and will be forwarded to the U.S. Department of Labor for approval. The bidder must supply all information required by the bid documents and specifications and complete all forms included in the Proposal. Required forms may include, but are not limited to, the Suspension and Debarment Certification and any applicable federal or state required certifications. All applicable labor provisions and wage rate requirements are included in the specifications and bid documents. The Contractor must comply with the requirements of the Build America, Buy America (BABA) Act, 41 USC 8301 note, and all applicable rules and notices, as may be amended, if applicable to the Grantee's infrastructure project. Persuant to HUD's Notice, "Public Interest Phased Implementation Waiver for FY 2022 and 2023 of Build America, Buy America Provisions as Applied to Recipients of HUD Federal Financial Assistance" (88 FR 17001), any funds obligated by HUD on or after the applicable listed effective dates, are subject to BABA requirements, unless excepted by a waiver.
