The work involves upgrading the fire suppression and fire alarm system in Hangars 5 and 6 at Reno-Stead Airport. The project includes tying in the existing fire water hangar feed to a new TMWA water feed on-site, providing new fire sprinkler systems in hangar areas to meet the requirements of 2022 NFPA 409 and the latest NFPA 13 standards, and providing updated fire alarm systems to meet the same standards. All material, labor, tools, expendable equipment, transportation services, permits and fees, utilities required, and all incidental items necessary are to be provided to complete the scope of work entitled "Hangar Fire Suppression System Upgrade" as per the specifications, drawings, and plans referenced. Bidders are required to submit one original hard copy and one electronic copy of their bid on a flash drive. All documents must be enclosed in a sealed envelope or package marked with the ITB number, bidder name, address, and due date. Mailed bids should be enclosed within another envelope marked "BID ENCLOSED." Late bids will not be accepted, and postmarks do not qualify as delivery. Oral, telephonic, faxed, emailed bids, or bids submitted via NGEM are not valid. Bidders are responsible for monitoring NGEM to receive any addenda. The Engineer's Estimate range for the Project is $1,600,000.00 to $1,900,000.00 *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
