Design for Safety improvements on KY-1865 (New Cut Road) / Taylor Boulevard from MP 0.5 (just south of Old New Cut Road) to MP 5.766 (just north of the I-264 ramp). Project Length - Approximately 5.27 miles The purpose of this project is to improve safety and mobility for the highly developed KY-1865 corridor. There were 1685 crashes during the five-year study period (2017-2021). This corridor also has intersection misalignments for vehicles and lack of sidewalk connectivity for pedestrians. First Selection Meeting: May 11, 2026 Final Selection: May 27, 2026 Pre-Design Conference: June 3, 2026 Consultant Fee Proposal: June 12, 2026 Contract Negotiations: June 24, 2026 Notice to Proceed: July 15, 2026 The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
