Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Louisville, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
All bidders shall visit the KLC Headquarters for a mandatory site inspection. Contractors may visit the site anytime between 9:00 A.M. and 3:00 P.M from 04/16/26 - 04/24/26. Any bidder who fails to attend will be deemed non-responsive and automatically disqualified from further consideration. The purpose of this site inspection is to familiarize bidders with the project and answer questions. Bidders shall have a guided tour of both parking lots that will be replaced and shall bring available tools to properly inspect and quote the project. In the event that any discussions or questions at the site inspection or afterward require additional clarification, the KLC will issue a written summary of questions and answers as an addendum to this Invitation to Bid. NO.: 502.560.1772 EMAIL: Kuach.kualkat@kylottery.com OBJECTIVE The KLC is inviting bids for the re-pavement of two (2) asphalt parking lots at their corporate Headquarters located at 1011 West Main Street, Louisville, Kentucky 40202. This project will consist of milling existing asphalt surfaces, repairs as needed, application of new asphalt overlay [1 1/2 "], striping, and related work for the designated KLC parking lots. The KLC will perform background checks on all personnel assigned by the Successful Bidder to perform the requested services, prior to any work being performed. The project shall be completed and accepted prior to June 30, 2026. Scope of Work: The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, materials, supplies, equipment, insurance, vehicles, bonds, permits, and administration necessary to repave both KLC parking lots. The contractor shall: 1. Contractors shall mill the current asphalt surfaces, perform necessary repairs, apply a new asphalt overlay [1 1/2 "], carry out striping, and execute related tasks for the specified KLC parking lots. 2. Contractors are required to conduct an in-person site visit to inspect both parking lots. Contractor shall verify all field measurements, parking lot sq. footage and existing conditions prior to starting work. 3. On-site construction shall begin as soon as possible after vendor has been awarded the contract. Work must be completed on or before June 30th, 2026. The contractor shall submit a preliminary work schedule. Contractor shall have access to the facility Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 AM until 5 PM local time. Weekend and after normal business hours are available by appointment with our Director of Operations. 4. All work shall be accomplished in accordance with applicable Federal, State, and Local Codes and restrictions. This contractor is responsible for securing and paying any fees associated with the required inspection of this work. Copies of all approved inspections shall be presented to the Director of Operations. 5. Contractor is hereby notified that all on-site staff performing work for this project must meet State of Kentucky's licensing requirements for apprentices and journeymen in their respective trades. 6. Contractor must maintain safe pedestrian access to and from the facility, at all times, at all entryways. 7. Contractor must protect the areas of disturbance against access by people other than the Contractor's work forces. Contractor is responsible for all OSHA and MOSHA requirements to protect staff and the public from construction. In addition, Contractor must provide signage, barriers, and other precautions appropriate to protect the public. 8. Contractor must ensure that a supervisor is on-site at all times while whenever work is occurring for this project. 9. Contractor will not be allowed to place any toilet facilities in area during this project. They will be given limited access to our headquarters and their toilet facilities. 10. Contractor shall dispose of all construction related debris in accordance with all local, state and federal requirements and regulations. 11. Contractor shall protect all existing structures and landscaping that shall remain free from damage. All Bidders shall visit the KLC Headquarters for a MANDATORY SITE INSPECTION. Contractors may visit the site anytime between 9:00 A.M. and 3:00 P.M from 04/16/26 - 04/24/26. Any bidder who fails to attend will be deemed non-responsive and automatically disqualified from further consideration.
