Sealed bids are invited for the 2026 C.D.B.G Curb Program for the City of Auburn. Plans and specifications can be obtained through the City of Auburn's website under Bid Opportunities. Each bidder must submit bid security in the required amount, form, and subject to specified conditions. Bidders are required to adhere to specified conditions of employment and pay prevailing wage rates under the contract. The Owner is exempt from sales and compensating use taxes for all materials, equipment, and supplies sold for the contract. Purchases by the Contractor and Subcontractors of materials, equipment, and supplies to be sold to the Owner, including tangible personal property incorporated in the project, are also tax-exempt. Bids may not be withdrawn for 45 days after the bid opening. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids. Question Deadline 04/27/2026 at 11:00 AM ET No interpretation of the meaning of the plans, specifications, or other pre-bid documents will be made to any bidder orally. Every request for such interpretation or information shall be by email and sent to Scott McIntyre, Assistant Civil Engineer at smcintyre@auburnny.gov.All requests for Information (RFI) must be received by 11:00 am, 6 working days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids to be given consideration.
