The project consists of the following scope items: removal of existing whiteboards, refinishing of the existing wall (patch, paint), and reinstalling whiteboards. The process shall be conducted in accordance with applicable requirements of N.J.S.A. 18A: 18A-1 et. seq. This will be a Single Prime Lump Sum Contract with Add Alternate options to be added at the Owner's discretion. Bid proposals will be accepted from bidders registered with the Division of Revenue and Department of Labor, and classified by the Department of Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction as General Contractors with a DPMC Classification of C006, C008 or C009, or other special categories set forth in the Request for Proposals. Bidders must submit one Bid Bond in an amount equal to 10% of the proposed Contract Price for the work to be performed, not to exceed $20,000 per N.J.S.A 18A:18A-24. Bidders must attend the mandatory Pre-Bid Conference #1 to obtain the date and time for Pre-Bid Conference #2 (if scheduled at the discretion of Owner). No bid will be accepted from any bidder who fails to attend the required pre-bid conferences. These will be the only opportunities for site access prior to the bid submission date. Bidders are encouraged to bring their teams to the pre-bid conferences. Documents, including plans and specifications, will be available electronically for a fee of $25, payable by money order or bank check. Bidders are required to comply with affirmative action and equal employment opportunity requirements. The Owner reserves the rights to cancel the procurement, reject any and all bids, and waive technical defects in documents submitted in response to the Request for Proposals.
