A. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following 1. The proposed scope of work includes approximately 1,100 SF of new construction of a restroom pavilion. and other Work indicated in the Contract Documents. The scope consists of separate male and female restrooms, required plumbing fixtures, accessories, and supporting mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems. Work also includes the demolition of an existing sidewalk, and the addition of a new sidewalk and canopies. Classified as Group-E Education B. Type of Contract: 1. Project will be constructed under a single prime contract. The project scope includes the construction of a new Restroom Pavilion situated on the campus of Rickards High School, Tallahassee, Florida. Please refer to the Project Manual Permit Documents, plans by Fitzgerald Collaborative Group, LLC, dated 4.8.26, and project documents for all work included in each scope. Bidders and vendors are responsible for inquiring about additional Supplements and Addendums normally issued during the bid process. All revisions will be posted on the Childers FTP site. Sealed bids will be received by the Construction Manager until 2:00 PM on Wednesday, May 6, 2026. Bidders are advised to hand-deliver bids, or send by US mail, FedEx, or UPS to Childers Construction Co., 3472 Weems Road, Unit 1, Tallahassee, FL 32317. All bid results listed on the "Bid Tabulations" are unofficial until scope reviews are conducted after the bid. Minority and Small Business Enterprise (SBE) participation is strongly encouraged. Childers Construction Co. reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive informalities in any bid. All bidders on this project must pre-qualify with the Construction Manager seventy-two (72) hours before bid time.
