Site work and addition to a water / sewer project in Peoria Heights, Illinois. Completed plans call for the addition of a water / sewer project.
The project consists of the construction of a new water treatment building to include a new 1.0 MGD filtration treatment unit and chemical injection equipment at the Owner's existing Water Treatment Plant, and all materials, equipment, services, and construction inherent to the Work. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with applicable Illinois statutes and regulations. Interested bidders must request electronic bidding documents by providing complete contact information. Bids must be submitted with a 5% bid security. The contract is expected to be partly funded by a loan from the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency and is subject to various federal and state regulations, including requirements regarding the employment of Illinois workers, the Build America, Buy America Act, and the participation of disadvantaged business enterprises. Fair share goals are established for minority- and women-owned business participation.
