Adairsville Water Plant Generator Question Deadline 05/08/2026 at 4:00 PM ET All project inquiries regarding this RFP must be made in writing to engineering@rindt.com or to Meg Mbugua, P.E. at meg@rindt.com by this date and time. Sealed bids are invited for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, skills, equipment, and miscellaneous items necessary for the construction of a Water Plant Generator. Work includes the purchase and installation of a 500KW generator at the Water Plant, building a concrete pad (excavation, re-compacting, pouring slab), purchase, installation, and coordination of delivery and unloading of a 500KW, 480/277v/3-phase diesel generator in a weather-proof sound enclosure with a 2500-gallon tank, provision of a crane to unload and set the generator, electrical conduits and wiring from generator to the existing automatic transfer switch, start-up and system testing after installation, training for system use, and fuel for initial startup, testing, and training purposes, plus any other materials, labor, tools, equipment, and miscellaneous items for a complete working generator. Bidders must inform themselves about Georgia Laws and comply. A Contractor's Affidavit for E-Verify must be executed and submitted as part of the bid package, or the bid will be considered nonresponsive. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or equivalent security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total contract value. The successful bidder must provide performance and payment bonds in accordance with contract documents. Surety and insurance companies must meet specified licensing and registry requirements. Bids must remain valid for 60 days. Each bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope, plainly marked as “RFP 26-04: Adairsville Water Plant Generator.” The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive formalities, and to re-advertise.
