Renovation of an educational facility in New York, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

PS 7 (Manhattan) Roofs/Exterior Masonry Roofs/Exterior Masonry at (M007) PS 7 (Manhattan). The performance period is 730 continuous calendar days. Bidders must be prequalified with the SCA, and if the bid exceeds $3,000,000, the firm must be qualified for that amount and have the applicable experience as of the bid opening. All work is subject to the Project Labor Agreement (PLA), and both contractors and subcontractors must become signatory to this agreement. Contractors and subcontractors must be registered with the Department of Labor and submit their Certificate of Registration with the bid. Bids must be submitted via the SCA Bonfire Procurement Portal, and all bonds must be processed through Surety 2000. The project includes designated "Wicks" trades: HVAC, Plumbing & Gas Fitting, and Electrical Work. All "Wicks" subcontractors must be prequalified by the SCA and must not be disqualified, suspended, or ineligible at the time of bid opening. Bidders must include the names and estimates for all proposed "Wicks" trade subcontractors or themselves if they are self-performing, properly licensed, and technically capable. Bidders must include a total allowance of $109,460.00 in their lump sum bid amount as specified in Technical Specification Section S01010 "Summary of Work". The bid must be a lump sum amount to complete the project within the specified performance period after normal school hours and include all conditions specified in the contract documents and phasing exhibit. A bid bond or certified check for five percent of the bid amount must accompany the bid. The lowest responsive and responsible bidder will be required to execute a PLA Letter of Assent. Only contractors prequalified at the time of bid opening will be considered. Additional requirements include enrollment in the NYC Financial Management System and submission of up-to-date payment information. Range - $3,000,001 to $10,000,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. MWLBEs - 30%
