The intent is to obtain term contract pricing for services to furnish supplemental labor based on campus electrical equipment and systems needs. Work primarily consists of routine maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and installation of standard electrical systems, with possible system modifications and small-scale new installations as needed. No specific quantity of work is guaranteed; tasks will be issued via work orders as required. The supplier must inform of the nature of problems, proposed solutions, estimated lead times and costs before repairs. All work orders must be completed as issued; delays due to labor shortages or scheduling conflicts are not acceptable without written approval. The supplier is to provide qualified electricians (high and low voltage) and helpers, with helpers directly supervised by Journeymen electricians. Manpower must be provided on an as-needed basis under the supervision of LSUS FSA, which will assign and inspect work, coordinate with personnel, and review daily time slips. No more personnel should be sent than necessary for safe and successful completion of work.
