The work involves coordinating restoration of outside plant fiber and copper cabling in support of over 50 New York State Executive Agencies with locations statewide. This includes responding to approximately 10-15 critical outside plant repair and maintenance requests per year that exceed the parameters of existing statewide contracts. The vendor is required to provide immediate response in emergent or on-demand situations, have expertise in diagnosing cable connectivity failures, and possess the ability to restore or replace segments of State-owned copper and fiber optic cable facilities. There is currently no immediate solution in place for these work orders.
