This project is a federally assisted contract subject to the requirements of 49 CFR Part 26 regarding the participation of Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) in Department of Transportation Financial Assistance Programs, with a DBE goal of 6.8% of the contract amount for the base bid. Work involves replacing gates 14, 29, 32, 39, and 40 and updating fencing near gates 39 and 40 to enhance security at Harry Reid International Airport. Applicable NAICS codes include Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction, Site Preparation Contractors, Fencing Contractors (Other Specialty), and Testing Laboratories and Services. The contract is subject to Executive Order 11246, Equal Employment Opportunity and Federal Labor Provisions. All labor must be paid at least the minimum wage rates established by the U.S. Secretary of Labor and the State of Nevada. Bidders must supply all required information, provide a bid guarantee as described in the instructions, and, if successful, furnish performance and payment bonds for 100 percent of the contract price. The OWNER reserves the right to refuse to issue or accept a bid for contractor defaults or unsatisfactory performance on previous contracts with the OWNER.
