Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Katy, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Scope of Work includes the construction of water, sanitary sewer, drainage facilities, paving, and appurtenances to serve Samara Ervin Phase VI for Galveston County Municipal Utility District No. 73, Galveston County, Texas. Instructions to Bidders: Sealed bids, in duplicate, must be addressed to Galveston County Municipal Utility District No. 73 and delivered to the office of the Engineer, LJA Engineering, Inc., or submitted electronically via https://bids.lja.com, where bidders must register and obtain bidding documents for the required payment amount (if any). Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or a certified or cashier’s check in an amount not less than 5 percent of the total bid as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into the contract, execute the bonds on the provided forms, and provide required insurance certificates within 7 days after the date contract documents are received. Bidding documents may be examined at specified locations or obtained upon payment. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive defects and irregularities in bidding except for the time of submitting a bid. The successful bidder will be the responsible bidder which, in the board’s judgment, will be most advantageous to the district and provide the best and most economical completion of the project.
