Renovation of a municipal facility in Pineville, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The work includes cleaning and restoration of the Courthouse Annex, including repointing and repair of historic masonry, and rebuilding of terra cotta cornice units. Alternates include repair of lower entablature, and repair and repainting of metal and wood features. The project also includes any incidental construction as needed and described in the construction documents. All work must be done in accordance with the Secretary of Interior's Standards for the Historic Treatment of Historic Properties. Contractor must be experienced in historic preservation work. Construction time limit is 120 calendar days. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond made payable to the Owner in the amount of five percent (5%) of the base bid, in accordance with the instructions to bidders. All bidders are required to have a West Virginia Contractor's License at the time of bidding. The County reserves the right to reject any and all bids. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the Bid Opening. All questions must be submitted in writing to Phill Warnock at pwarnock@chaptech.com. Note which project the question is for at the beginning of each question. Deadline for questions is May 1, 2026 at Noon. Time of completion is 120 consecutive calendar days to Final Completion, due to grant funding deadline requirements.
