Renovation of a mixed-use development in Chazy, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and educational facility.
Sealed bid proposals are invited to furnish materials and labor for the Chazy Union Free School District 2025-2026 Capital Outlay Project, in accordance with the plans and specifications. The work is to be bid under a single prime contract system covering all trades under one contract for general construction. Bid proposals must be submitted in accordance with the instructions. Bids must be prepared on the provided "Form of Proposal" sheets, filled out completely, and submitted in a sealed envelope with the name, address, phone number of the bidder, and the project title on the face. Bid security in the required form must accompany each bid. Bidders are responsible for all costs incurred in preparing and submitting their bids and may be required to provide documentary evidence of financial, technical, and practical ability to perform the work. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities or defects, whether before or after opening. Bidders may not withdraw their proposals within forty-five business days following the date of bid opening. Out-of-state bidders must comply with requirements for authority to do business in New York State. Attention is called to employment conditions and minimum wage rates specified for the contract. Plans and specifications remain the property of the architect's office and must be returned within thirty business days following the award or rejection of bids. Refund policies for plan deposits are stipulated, including partial refunds based on the return and condition of documents. Additional details and requirements are provided in the bid documents and specifications. Question Deadline 04/30/2026 No interpretations of the plans, specifications or other contract documents will be made to any bidder orally. All requests for such interpretations shall submitted in writing to BCA Architects & Engineers (on the attached RFI Form). To be given consideration a request for interpretation the RFI form must be received at least four (4) business days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids.
