The County of Glenn is accepting sealed bids for road construction materials, which include Hot Mix Asphalt, Liquid Asphalt, Quality Pavement Repair (QPR), Polymer Modified Asphaltic Emulsions, Asphaltic Emulsion, Bedding Sand, Aggregate Base, Aggregate Screenings, and Rock Slope Protection. All materials and services must conform to all applicable requirements, including but not limited to the Caltrans 2025 Standard Specifications and ASTM Standards. Aggregate providers must also meet the requirements of California’s Public Resources Code, Section 2717(b), known as the AB 3098 List. Mining operations not listed under AB 3098 are precluded from selling mined materials to state or local agencies under Sections 10295.5 and 20676 of the Public Contract Code. See each material description for further information.
