Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Willows, California. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.

The work includes replacement of the existing low water crossing with a new bridge and reconstruction of the approach roadway along County Road 35 at Wilson Creek. Bids are required for the entire work described. No bid will be considered unless it is made on the forms furnished by the COUNTY and is made in accordance with the Special Provisions. Each bidder must be licensed as required by law and as described in the contract documents. The COUNTY reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to determine which Sealed Bid is the lowest responsive bid of a responsible bidder and that which it deems in the best interest of the COUNTY to accept. The COUNTY also reserves the right to waive any information not material to cost or performance in any Proposal or bid.Questions are due by April 17 , 2026 at 5:00 p.m. The work to be done consists, in general, of demolition of the existing concrete low water crossing and roadway, construction of a new slab bridge supported on CIDH concrete piles, and reconstruction of the approach roadway.
