Site work for an educational facility in Riverside, California. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility.

Each bidder and all subcontractors must be licensed contractors pursuant to the California Business and Professions Code and must be licensed to perform the work specified in the contract documents under License Classification: C-8. Bids must strictly conform to the contract documents. A list of designated subcontractors must be submitted with the bid as required by the Subletting and Subcontracting Fair Practices Act. Bids must be accompanied by security of not less than ten percent of the total bid price in an approved form. Prevailing wage rates apply per California Labor Code. Formal prequalification is required for certain contractors and MEP subcontractors, with a list of prequalified subcontractors provided five days prior to bid opening. Bidders must ensure all relevant MEP subcontractors are prequalified. Bidders may not withdraw bids for ninety days after bid opening. Separate payment and performance bonds, each for 100% of the contract amount, are required and must be issued by a California admitted surety. Additive or deductive alternates to the base bid will be considered per specified methods. Bidders must strive to meet or show good faith efforts toward Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises participation goals. Requests for substitutions must be submitted at least seven business days before bid opening. Bidders should review timing requirements for DSA approval, manufacture, delivery, installation, and other work requirements. All concrete work shall comply with Riverside Unified School District standards. The contractor will utilize experienced employees to perform the work, and all work will be completed in a professional manner. The contractor will ensure that employees work under the constant direction of a qualified supervisor.
