Renovation of an educational facility in Santa Monica, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The scope of work in the Obama Modernization project encompasses both, campus interior and exterior renovations. The building interior work is the Building A partial renovation for Olympic High School and the Adult Education Program, Building B partial renovation for the SELPA program and Building C and D for the SMMUSD preschool program. The renovation includes toilet rooms renovations, plumbing re-work, interior surfaces renovation, minor mechanical and electrical upgrades, limited ADA upgrades, signage and finishes. There is no Fire Alarm or Fire Sprinkler work. The building exterior work includes underground utilities, new play structure in the preschool yard, new shade structure, removal of existing portable, landscape and minor canopy structural upgrades. *Please be advised that the SMMUSD - Bid #26.17.QS – DSA #03-125299 Olympic HS - Modernization & Site-Work at Michelle & Barack Obama Center For Inquiry & Exploration project has issued ADDENDUM #1. *Read and acknowledge ALL ADDENDUMS (Addendum #1 posted) Send quotes to estimating@waiscon.com Prevailing Wage JOB Subcontractors must be DIR Registered MEP SUBCONTRACTORS: C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-34, C-36, C-38, C-42, C-43, and/or C-46 must be prequalified by the owner in order to bid on this project. DVBE, SBE, MBE, WBE, DBE, LGBTQQ subcontractors and suppliers are encouraged to bid this project. Please read the Insurance Requirements
