This is a sources sought notice issued for market research purposes to identify interested and capable parties for the complete replacement of an existing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) chiller system at Building 149. The contractor will be responsible for providing all management, supervision, labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform the full replacement of the existing air-cooled chiller system. The scope of work includes the safe decommissioning and removal of the existing chiller, including proper recovery and handling of all refrigerants and fluids; the furnishing and installation of a new, energy-efficient air-cooled chiller system with all required piping and electrical connections; full integration of the new chiller with the existing building automation system, including system charging, start-up, and performance testing; and the removal of all project-related debris with complete restoration of the worksite upon completion.
