Anderson School District Five would like to contract with a vendor to Sand Screen & Poly Coat All Gym Floors in the District. The District intends for this vendor to assume all responsibilities associated with this contract including but not limited to all labor fees, federal, state, city or town required business license(s), permits, insurance, fuel, supplies and any other expenses required to carry out the requirement of this solicitation. The successful contractor shall be properly licensed (Section 40-11-30) and must have at least five (5) years of documented experience. You must submit a signed copy of this form with Your Offer. By submitting a bid or proposal, You agree to be bound by the terms of the Solicitation. You agree to hold Your Offer open for a minimum of forty-five (45) calendar days after the Opening Date. Bid security is required for all competitive sealed bidding for construction contracts in excess of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) and where otherwise required by State law. Bid security is a certified cashier's check or a bond provided by a surety company licensed in South Carolina with an "A" minimum rating of performance as stated in the most current publication of "Best Key Rating Guide, Property Liability", which company shows a financial strength rating of at least five (5) times the contract price. Each bond must be accompanied by a "Power of Attorney" authorizing the attorney-infact to bind the surety. In the case of a construction contract under $100,000, the District may, with the approval of the Superintendent, allow the use of a "B" rated bond when bid security is required.
