Solicitation- 250140 The scope of work includes installation of a new security fence, procurement and installation of one informative sign, and cemetery access improvements. If subsurface penetration or ground disturbance occurs or will occur, a bioarchaeologist, as defined within the Human Skeletal Analyst in 872.05 of Florida Statutes, will be required to monitor the work. The contractor shall not subcontract more than 50% of the work based on the total contract price, and may not utilize subcontractors for the role of project manager. The successful bidder must be able to show a past history of successfully completed five commercial fencing projects within the past three years that are compliant with the applicable permits and standards. The contractor, or its subcontractor(s), shall possess and maintain during the term of the agreement one of the following licenses and/or certifications: Florida Registered or Certified General Contractor. Bids must be accompanied by a cashier's check, bid bond, or other negotiable instrument in an amount not less than five percent of the bid. Bid bonds shall be countersigned by an agent having an established place of business in the State of Florida. Bidders must include one original and one copy of their submitted bid. The contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, national origin, gender, age, religion, pregnancy, handicap, or marital status.
