Renovation of an educational facility in Concord, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The scope of work includes performing exterior moisture-infiltration repairs including but not limited to tuck-pointing deteriorated brick mortar joints; replacing gaskets at windows and storefronts; removing existing caulk and backer rod at expansion joints, control joints, and joints around window and door frames; installing new backer rod in these areas; removing and replacing concrete as needed to improve site drainage; and pressure-washing the full exterior of the building. All labor, materials, equipment, and any required subcontractors shall be fully included in the bid. Sealed bids shall be received in PDF format via email. Bidders must be licensed contractors in North Carolina with owner-approved subcontractors as required, and the bid must contain all work needed for a complete installation. The contractor shall be the Prime Contractor. All firms must be registered with the North Carolina Electronic Vendor Portal prior to presenting a proposal. Bids received after the specified deadline will be rejected. Bid bonds are required in the amount of 5% of the total bid, and only bid bond checks may be mailed. Bidders must agree to execute a contract that incorporates and adheres to the State of North Carolina's General Terms and Conditions. HUB certified contractors are encouraged to submit a bid for this project. **Documents are for viewing purposes ONLY. In order to be eligible to submit a bid, the prospective bidder must register and receive the bidding documents directly from the Engineer.**
