Site work and paving for a road / highway in Chipley, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
This project involves the paving of Crystal Lake Road from the intersection of Tricia Trail to Amethyst Lane for a total length of 4000 linear feet. The scope includes drainage improvements using a combination of swales with ditch blocks, as well as signage and pavement marking during construction. Bids must be sealed and clearly indicate that they are for the CRYSTAL LAKE IMPROVEMENTS. Bid documents can be obtained from Dewberry. The completion period is 150 days from the Notice to Proceed, with liquidated damages set at $1,000 per day for failure to complete on time. Bids must conform to Section 287.133(3) Florida Statutes on public entity crimes. The County reserves the right to waive informalities, accept/reject any or all bids, and accept the bid deemed in the best interest of Washington County. Documentation or consideration of a vendor's social, political, or ideological interests is not permitted in determining vendor responsibility.
