Site work for a water / sewer project in Havasu Lake, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Project includes the following Work: Assorted improvements at East and West Well Sites. Specifically, the improvements at East Well Site include the relocation of the existing pump controls, a new shade structure for the pump controls, a new standby generator with automatic transfer switch (ATS), and the removal and replacement of the existing actuator valve on the plumbing tree. Specifically, the improvements at West Well Site include installation of a new tablet chlorinator, a new automatic transfer switch (ATS), and various upgrades to the existing plumbing tree including a new magnetic flow meter, pressure gauge, and air release valve. Additionally, the work includes the installation of a remote monitoring system for East Well, West Well, and the two Water Storage Tanks located at Homesite #2. A new shade structure will be installed for the controls at the Water Storage Tanks The Project has an expected duration of 118 days Notice is hereby given to any and all Contractors who bid on projects on trust land within the exterior boundaries of the Chemehuevi Reservation that you are responsible for a one-time payment of the TERO fee which amounts to 2 Percent of the total amount of the contract. Additionally, firms must complete and submit a Compliance Plan under the Tribe's TERO to assure that qualified Tribal members are given opportunities to perform work as employees of the firm or team. Arrangements for the payment of TERO fees are to be made prior to beginning work with the TRIBAL EMPLOYMENT RIGHTS ORDINANCE OFFICE, Chemehuevi Indian Tribe, P.O. Box 1976, Havasu Lake, CA 92363. Also, prior to beginning work on any contract or subcontract, the Contractor shall file a report with the TERO Office and Tribal Finance showing: 1. Date of contract and amount of contract Preference in the award of this Contract shall be given to Indian and Alaskan Native organizations and economic enterprises. The Owner shall give preference to 51% Indian-owned Economic Enterprise so long as the bid by this enterprise does not exceed the lowest bid submitted by more than the amount outlined in Exhibit 10 - Indian Preference Policy above the lowest total bid. "Indian-owned Economic Enterprise" means any Indian-owned commercial, industrial, or business activity established or organized for the purpose of profit, provided that such Indian Ownership shall not constitute less than 51 percent of the enterprise, and that ownership shall encompass active operation and control of the enterprise. All preferences shall be publicly announced at the bid opening. Any contractor claiming Indian preference shall give evidence, as required by the Owner, to support its claim prior to bid opening. 2.
