The works to be constructed under this Contract generally include, but is not limited to, the following: i. The supply and installation of a new 8.0m C/C Span Concrete slab bridge on inverted Tabutments. ii. The work site is located on the Leechtown Road (Whiskey Creek), and is within the Greater Victoria Water Supply Area (the location is shown on the design drawings (reference Appendix B).The work site is located 1.4km from the Sooke Main Gate (off Sooke Lake Road). iii. The work generally consists of, but is not limited to, the following: i. Removal and disposal of the existing 1500cmp culvert. ii. Excavation and grading of site, as shown on drawings. iii. Subgrade preparation to design specification for abutment foundations. iv. Supply and installation of precast inverted T abutments. v. Supply and installation of precast concrete superstructure. vi. Supply and installation of guard rails and pedestrian handrail vii. Supply and installation of concrete block retaining wall viii. Backfill and compaction of fill material ix. Placement of riprap instream works (rip rap supplied by CRD) x. Placement of road surface aggregate (aggregate supplied by CRD). xi.
