Renovation of a museum in Monroe, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a museum.
Separate sealed bids are requested for the construction of the G.B. Cooley House Rehabilitation. All prime bidders must obtain bidding documents from Campo Architecture & Interior Design, LLC and must be prequalified for historic restoration/preservation work, providing proof of such qualification. Bidders may submit bids electronically or in person, must deposit security with their bid, and must comply with all conditions outlined in the contract documents, including employment requirements, minimum wage rates, and all applicable federal and state laws. Contractors must hold an active license in building construction, provide their license number when requesting documents, and include it on the bid envelope. The contractor is required to begin mobilization and procurement of materials within ten working days of receiving the Notice to Proceed and must execute required agreements and bonds within ten working days after contract award. Minority-owned firms and small businesses are encouraged to bid. Other requirements include adherence to state public bid law, submission of specific certifications for CDBG projects, and compliance with disability accommodation requests if needed.
