Three pedestrian hybrid beacons at congress way & lake chabot road, Keith avenue & lake chabot road, and redwood road & modesto street in Castro valley, alameda county, california General work description: the project consists of providing construction area signs; providing and implementing a traffic control plan, providing and implementing a stormwater pollution prevention plan, constructing concrete curb and gutter, sidewalks, and curb ramps; modifying drainage structures, installing pedestrian hybrid beacons and associated electrical equipment, pavement reconstruction, installing striping, pavement markings, and signing, and cleaning of the site at the end of the job. The project and its construction activities must include best management practices to protect the environment. Allotted time for completion: 90 working days. License requirement: the contractor must have a class a license at the time this contract is awarded. Licensing must be maintained throughout the contract duration. Registration requirement: to be qualified to bid or to be listed in a bid proposal, all contractors must be registered with the department of industrial relations. Wages: the contractor and all subcontractors must pay not less than the general prevailing rate of per diem wages to all workers. Copies of the required prevailing rates are on file at the agency location where bids are due.
