Demolition and renovation of a laboratory facility in Framingham, Massachusetts. Working plans call for the demolition of a laboratory facility; and for the renovation of a laboratory facility.
The MBE/WBE/VBE participation benchmark reserved for such enterprises shall not be less than 6.9% MBE, 15.3% WBE and 3% VBE for all state and state-assisted construction projects over $150,000. The Project consists of but not limited to Demolition and renovation to existing science laboratory; includes all materials and labor. The work is estimated to cost $200,000.00. The project consists of all labor and materials to demolish then renovate an existing science lab. Bids are subject to MGL c149 44A-J and to minimum wage rates as required by MGL c149 26 to 27H inclusive. Bidders must be certified by the Department of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM). Filed Sub Bids are required from DCAMM certified trades in HVAC and Electrical Work. The University reserves the right to waive any informality or reject any bid if it determines it is in the Public Interest to do so.
