Renovation of a municipal facility in Tyler, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The project scope includes renovation of part of the existing animal shelter, demolition of a secondary structure and canopies, and additional work indicated in the bid. To submit a bid, attendance at the Pre-Bid Conference is required. Payments will be made after items or services have been received in accordance with the award. Smith County reserves the right to accept or reject in whole or in part any bid received and to waive any irregularities or formalities in the best interest of Smith County. Bid Bond is required. Smith County Commissioners Court reserves the right to make all final decisions. Minority Business Enterprises, Small Business Enterprises, and Women Business Enterprises are encouraged to submit proposals. Smith County will award based on lump sum. This is a prevailing wage project. Any prospective respondent desiring any explanation, clarification, or interpretation of this solicitation must make a written request to Jaye Latch, Smith County Purchasing Director via email at Purchasing@smith-county.com before April 28, 2026 by 5 P.M. for questions and clarifications The above Bidder is hereby notified that their bid, dated May 7th, 2026, for the above Contract has been considered and the Bidder is hereby awarded a contract for the renovation to the existing Smith County Animal Shelter, including interior renovations and exterior/site demolition and renovation.
