Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Randolph, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; road / highway; and road / highway.

The work includes the construction of a sidewalk, curbing, curb ramps, curb extensions, landscaping, RRFB's (flashing beacons), pavement striping and signage, temporary traffic controls and signing for construction operations, and other various items necessary to complete the improvements at three locations: South Street at Centre Street, Highland Avenue at Memorial Parkway, and High Street at Chestnut Street. The project will also include other improvements as specified in the plans and contract documents. Each bid must adhere to the instructions to bidders and include a bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid. The successful bidder must provide a Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the contract value, from a surety acceptable to the Town. Bids are subject to applicable Massachusetts bidding laws and wage rates as determined by the Department of Labor Standards. The Town reserves the right to waive any informality or reject any or all bids if deemed in its best interest. Pre-qualification requirements: Contractors must be prequalified in accordance with 720 CMR 5.00. MassDOT prequalification of contractors with the class of work as "Highway - Sidewalk and Curbing" for the project with an estimated value of $650,000.
