The project consists of performing maintenance dredging of the Intracoastal City Public Boat Launch to include depositing material at a designated area, grading, shaping, erosion control, and hydromulching. Instructions to bidders include: - Bids must be submitted in sealed form by the specified deadline. Late bids will not be considered and will be returned unopened. - Complete bid documents are available in electronic or paper form. Prime Bidders receive bid documents without deposit from Primeaux, Soirez, Touchet & Associates, LLC. - Bidders are encouraged to visit the site to familiarize themselves with the work. Partial sets of documents will not be issued. Bid documents are available until twenty-four (24) hours before the bid opening. - Bids may be submitted in person or via email. - Each quotation must include a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond for five percent (5%) of the total amount bid (including alternates). - The successful contractor must provide Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds for the full contract amount. - Contractors submitting bids of $50,000 or more must be licensed under the Louisiana Revised Statutes for the classification of HEAVY CONSTRUCTION and show their license number on the bid envelope. Bids not complying with this requirement will be rejected. If the contract price is less than $50,000, licensing is not required but the exemption must be stated on the bid envelope. - No bid may be withdrawn for forty-five (45) days after receipt, except as provided by law. - A Corporate Resolution or Certificate of Authority authorizing the person signing the bid must be submitted with the bid. - Bids must be submitted only on the Bid Form included in the Specifications. - The Owner may reject any and all bids for just cause as allowed by law. Provisions and requirements stated in the bidding documents cannot be waived by any entity. - Persons with disabilities requiring special accommodation must contact Primeaux, Soirez, Touchet & Associates, LLC no later than seven (7) days prior to bid opening.
