Sealed bids are invited for the construction of the Powell's Valley Water District Contract 1 Automatic Meter Readers Materials and Equipment Project. Bids must be submitted either by mail or delivery to the Powells Valley Water District Office at 31 Adams Ridge Road, Clay City, KY by 1:00 p.m., or hand delivered to the Powell County Emergency Management Office at 33 Commerce Drive, Stanton, KY by 2:00 p.m. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the latter location at 2:00 p.m. Each bid must be accompanied by security in the amount, form, and conditions specified in the information for bidders. The owner reserves the right to waive informalities or reject any or all bids. The award will be made to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder. No bidder may withdraw their bid for thirty days after the bid opening. Bids not prepared and submitted in accordance with the specifications may be considered informal and rejected.
