Description

Renovation of an educational facility in East Peoria, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Illinois Central College invites bids for LA 2nd Floor Enrollment HVAC Renovations. Bidders are to furnish all labor and materials as specified. Proposals must be submitted typed, not handwritten. The bid must remain open for 60 calendar days after the opening date. The contractor is expected to guarantee substantial completion before July 31, 2026, with project arrangements coordinated between the Facilities Department and the provider. The successful bidder agrees to comply with all terms, policies, and Illinois state laws referenced, including providing a drug-free workplace, registering sex offenders as required, and adhering to the Illinois Human Rights Act. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be conducted. All bid documents must be completed as requested, and any changes must be initialed. All relationships that might present a conflict of interest must be disclosed. The College is exempt from taxes. Payment will be made in accordance with Illinois Community College Act policies, about 45 days after acceptance of goods or services. Awards will be made to the lowest responsible bidder who complies with all requirements. Bidders must sign a certification form related to the Criminal Code of 1961. Unsigned bids will not be considered. The Purchasing Department reserves the right to clarify bids, investigate bidders, reject any or all proposals, and cancel the invitation to bid at any time. All materials submitted will be public information.
