The work involved includes roadway construction, water distribution, and sanitary sewer collection system improvements as described in the construction drawings and specifications. All proposals must be submitted on Bid Forms provided with the specifications. Bids may be submitted in person or electronically via the specified website. No oral, telegraphic, telephonic, or e-mail proposals will be considered. The successful bidder must comply with Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, with opportunities for contracting, subcontracting, training, and employment to be extended to Section 3 businesses and residents. Minority and Woman Owned Business Enterprises are invited to bid as prime contractors and are encouraged to inquire about subcontracting opportunities, equipment, material, and supply needs. The successful bidder must also comply with the Build America, Buy America Act. Bid preparation must follow the Instructions to Bidders included in the documents. The Town reserves the right to waive irregularities and reject any and/or all bids.
