This work also involves altering, extending, repairing, or partially or completely closing off certain sections of pavement and kerbs at vehicle entrances. The successful tenderer must provide the labour, materials and tools necessary to carry out the work on pavements and kerbs, all in accordance with the terms of the tender. Without limitation, the works include: - protection of existing structures; - traffic management and control; - excavation and demolition of existing structures; - site preparation; - foundation work beneath the pavement (or kerb); - formwork; - concrete placement, including: joints, finishing, curing and protection of the concrete; - repair of the road surface; - cleaning and restoration of the site (repair of private driveways, turfing, etc.).
