Demolition, site work and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in Challis, Idaho. Completed plans call for the demolition of a playground / park / athletic field; and playground / park / athletic field.

The work consists of demolition of the existing tennis courts, a new concrete pad for pickleball and basketball courts along with court surfacing and striping, installation of chain link fencing around the new pickleball courts, preparation and construction of an ADA sidewalk, and placement of ADA markings, minor drainage improvements and surface restoration at the completion of construction, and other minor improvements as indicated in the plans. Each proposal must be submitted on the prescribed form and accompanied by a certified cashier's check or a corporate bid bond executed on the prescribed form, payable to the City of Challis in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish Performance and Payment Bonds each in the amount of not less than 100% of the contract price. This is a federally funded project and Davis Bacon Wages will need to be paid on this project as well as meeting Build America, Buy American (BABA) requirements. Each Bidder must have a Public Works Contractors license in the State of Idaho prior to bid opening in accordance with Idaho law. The City of Challis reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive any nonmaterial irregularities in the bids received, and to accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to the best interest of the City of Challis.
