Sarasota County is requesting quotes from bidders to provide and install one aluminum gable roof carport structure measuring 30 feet wide by 20 feet long by 10 feet high, with a center section design and minimum 14-gauge framing. Bidders are instructed to see the included Quote Requirements document for additional details. The award will be made to the responsive and responsible bidder providing the lowest total bid price. Bidders are instructed not to submit a quote exceeding $50,000. If no responsive and responsible quotes are received under the quote threshold, the County may elect to cancel the request and re-solicit using another procurement method. Provide and install one (1) aluminum gable roof carport structure measuring 30 feet (W) x 20 feet (L) x 10 feet (H), with a center section design and minimum 14-gauge framing. B. Structure shall include a full rear wall enclosure consisting of vertical metal panels covering the entire 20-foot width. C. Provide partial side wall enclosures on both left and right sides, consisting of minimum 4.5 feet in height of vertical metal panels. D. Roof and wall panels shall be light grey in color. E. Contractor shall be responsible for all permitting, including preparation and submission of site-specific engineered drawings, and shall include all associated permit fees in the quote. F. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary forcomplete installation of the structure. G. Contractor shall field verify site conditions prior to installation. H. Structure shall be wind-rated and designed to meet applicable Florida Building Code requirements for Sarasota County. I. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to prepare and level a building pad approximately 25 feet by 35 feet to support installation of the structure. The pad shall consist of a minimum of 4 inches of compacted crushed concrete, limerock, or similar suitable base material, installed on a leveled subgrade and compacted to provide a stable and uniform surface. Contractor shall be responsible for minor grading and preparation necessary to achieve a suitable subgrade. Final grade shall be level and suitable for installation in accordance with manufacturer and permitting requirements.
