Renovation of a municipal facility in Bloomington, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The scope of work for this Project shall include, but not be limited to: The City of Bloomington is seeking qualified contractors to provide masonry restoration services for the Civic Plaza building. The intent of this project is to preserve the structural integrity, weather resistance, and aesthetic appearance of the building through comprehensive tuckpointing, sealant replacement, and related exterior. A certified check or cashier's check payable to the City of Bloomington, or satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and a licensed surety company must also accompany the Bid in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total Bid to be forfeited as liquidated damages in the event that the bid be accepted and the Bidder fail to enter into a written contract and furnish the required bond within ten (10) days after the award of the contract.
