The City of Salisbury is requesting quotes from qualified vendors to furnish all labor, materials and incidentals to repair the Memorial Plaza Bridge guardrails, to include: a. Remove and discard the four (4) existing guardrail posts. b. Fill the void and stabilize. c. Install approximately 60 feet of new guardrail with posts along the travel path, in compliance with Roadside Design Guide and 2021 MDOT SHA Guidelines for Traffic Barrier Placement and End Treatment Design. See Exhibit B for References. 1. Traffic Barrier W-Beam Metal Post per MD 605.23-01 2. One-sided W-Beam per MD 605.32 3. Standard Post Spacing per MD-605.31 & Table 5-4. From AASHTO Roadside Design Guide 4. End Treatment (Type C or Tape K) - only one type will be used. Quoting purpose only. d. Provide traffic control. Traffic control shall be in accordance with Maryland Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices. City provides a 1-day road closure along the Northbound lane only. 1. A Traffic control plan must be submitted to the City before construction.
