Events DC seeks a qualified contractor to provide Generator Service and Maintenance at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center and/or any other venue owned, managed, or controlled by Events DC. The Contractor is required to provide all supervision, labor, materials, equipment, and supplies to complete the specified work. This includes annual performance tests, tuning and maintenance, deficiency reports, and on-call service and repair for specified generator systems, including Mitsubishi Diesel Generators with Steuler Catalyst Nox Reduction Systems (SCR), Siemens ATS’s, Cutler Hammer breakers, and a 100 KW Onan Diesel Generator. All work must comply with federal and District of Columbia laws, industry standards, and manufacturer recommendations. Question Deadline 05/01/2026 at 5:00 PM ET Instructions to bidders include: - Possess at least ten years' experience with specified equipment and Title V Performance Tests. - Employ at least two technicians each with a minimum of five years' relevant experience. - Be an authorized dealer of Steuler and Mitsubishi generators. - Provide three customer references, be bonded and licensed in DC, and have all required local, state, and federal licenses. - Submit electronic bids including a completed quote form, tax documents, certifications, reference letters, and other specified attachments. - Provide fixed price quotes for Tasks 1-3 and time and materials quotes for Task 4. - Attend a pre-bid conference/site visit if desired, with prior notification required for attendance. - Address all questions through the specified e-procurement system. Any question answered outside this system is considered informal and non-binding. - Failure to submit bid components as required will result in non-responsiveness. - The contract includes a base year with four one-year renewal options and may be cancelled or modified at Events DC's discretion.
