This project is for the furnishing of one or more crews for new construction, rehabilitation and reconductoring work on the electric system for the City of Gastonia, North Carolina. The scope of the work to be accomplished is rehabilitation and conversion of energized circuits of 12,470 volts or less and new construction of 12,470 volt circuits. Personnel must be qualified to work energized circuits thru 12,470 volts with both gloves and hot sticks. The successful bidder will be required to enter into a contract with the Owner in the forms attached hereto for an initial periodof twelve (12) months. After the twelve (12) month evaluation period the City shall have the option to extend the contract for two (2) additional twenty-four (24) month periods. The effective start date shall be July 1, 2026.
