Renovation of an educational facility in Hillsboro, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 2,700-square-foot educational facility.

Work consists of removal and replacement of roofing material, edge and counterflashing on a section approximately 2,700 sq. ft. in size on the Fine Arts Building on the Hillsboro campus. Each bid shall include a five percent (5%) bid security in the form of a bid bond executed by the bidder and an approved Surety Company. All bidders must provide a sworn affidavit affirming participation in a federal work authorization program and stating that the bidder does not knowingly employ any person who is not authorized to work in the U.S. The contractor must comply with current Prevailing Wage laws and other statutory regulations as referred to in the specifications. This project is tax exempt. The Owner reserves the right to award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder and to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality on all bids. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days. Fine Arts Building Breezeway Roof Repair o This project includes repair of the old "Breezeway" roof section on the Fine Arts Building consisting of removal and replacement of roofing material, edge and counterflashing. This section of roof was not included in the original scope of the recently completed Fine Arts Building renovation and remodel. o This roof area is approximately 39 feet x 69 feet (approximately 2,691 square feet). Dimension should be verified by contractor. Scope of work: o Remove existing roofing down to deck o Mechanically fasten base sheet and 2.5" Iso base layer to deck o Adhere 1/4" Per ft. Tapered insulation set in two-part adhesive o Adhere 1/2" per ft. Tapered crickets set in two-part adhesive o Adhere 1/2" Hd coverboard set in two-part adhesive o Adhere 60 EPDM using bonding adhesive o Install new Hercules Retro fit drains o Include 20 Year manufacturer's warranty o Remove existing metal edge and counterflashing o Install Es1 Rated Metal Era 24 ga Pre-Manufactured Edge and 24ga counterflashing Selected contractor will be responsible for all required permitting for the entire scope of work. Fine Arts Building "Breezeway" Roof Repair on the Hillsboro Campus work could begin as early as Wednesday, July 1st , 2026 and completion should be no later than Monday, August 10th , 2026.
