The City of Tallahassee invites bids from licensed contractors for the construction of a 30'x44' steel gable-roofed kit pavilion with electrical components and associated site work at the Walker-Ford Community Center, located at 2301 T-Pain Lane, also known as 2301 Pasco St. The project reflects the City's commitment to sustainability, resilience, and the well-being of its residents, contributing to a greener future. The contract will be awarded to a single vendor who demonstrates responsibility and responsiveness in their proposal. More detailed information is available in Section 3 Scope/Work Specifications. Question Deadline 04/28/2026 at 12:00 PM ET Any questions related to this solicitation must be submitted in writing through the online System via the Questions and Answers (Q&A) section. The project scope encompasses the installation of a 30' x 44' steel gable-roofed kit pavilion with a gutter system, lights, fan(s), receptacles, and all associated electrical components. Additionally, site work will include the associated concrete slab, ADA-compliant sidewalks, tree removal, drainage, grading, and site restoration. Further, the contractor will be responsible for obtaining all required project permits, including any tree-removal permits. All run-off and stormwater drainage associated with the pavilion structure must convey to the existing drainage infrastructure located to the north of the pavilion structure, adjacent to Tucker Street. The winning contractor will be responsible for picking up the pavilion and gutter kit from 642 Mabry Street, Tallahassee, Florida 32304, and transporting it to the project site.
