Site work and paving for a civil project in Pacific City, Oregon. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Nestucca Neskowin & Sand Lake Watersheds Council intends to contract for construction services to dismantle, recycle or remove existing culverts and associated fill along a logging road to be decommissioned from coordinates 45.3105, -123.6661 to 45.3217, -123.6384 in Tillamook County, Oregon. The project includes working closely with a Project Team consisting of NNSLWC staff and technical advisors from relevant agencies and non-profits. The road segment to be decommissioned crosses East Creek at culvert #1122 and extends approximately two miles upslope, including two unnamed tributary fish streams. Specific tasks include removing culverts (#1122: 12 ft CMP, 110 ft long; #2016: 44" CMP, 60 ft long; a third culvert: 60" CMP, 73 ft long), adding riprap, streambed materials, and large boulders for fish passage, and decommissioning approximately 2.4 miles of logging road. The awarded consultant is expected to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and County standards and coordinate throughout the construction phase.
